Table Rock

Table rock is the welcome centre on the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. Located directly beside the Canadian Horseshoe Falls it is the hub to visit when wondering what to do in Niagara Falls. Walking through the beautiful gardens of Queen Victoria Park will eventually lead you to Table Rock.

Table rock was originally a large shelf rock that jutted out over the Canadian side of the Falls, and was the first major looking point for tourists visiting Niagara Falls. In the early stages there were a few rock falls that occurred at table rock before it was stabilized and made tourist friendly. The most notable of these was in July of 1850.

Today there is an entire welcome centre built on Table Rock, the centre houses the ticket booths to many major attractions including Journey Behind the Falls and Niagara’s Fury. Also, inside the centre are many souvenir shops and a food court, making it the perfect stop for all visiting tourists.
